This policy covers standingpilot.com, calls and texts to and from Standing Pilot's business line (435) 241-3111, and email to weston@standingpilot.com. It is written in plain language.
Who we are
Standing Pilot LLC is a Utah limited liability company based in St. George, Utah. We set up and run office systems for HVAC and plumbing shops. Contact: (435) 241-3111 · weston@standingpilot.com. What we collect
- When you call, text or email us: your name, phone number, email, your business name and address if you give them, what you asked about, and the messages themselves.
- When you agree to texts: your mobile number, that you agreed, when, and on which call. If you opt out, that you opted out and when.
- Calls: we may record calls to our business line where the law allows. If a call is recorded, we say so at the start.
- Public business information: to reach shops about our service, we may use contact details a business publishes itself, such as its listed phone number and address.
- This website: no accounts, no forms, no advertising cookies and no tracking scripts. Our host keeps basic technical logs (IP address, browser, time) to keep the site running and secure. If you pick light or dark mode, your browser remembers that choice on your own device; it is never sent to us.
How we use it
- To answer you, set up calls and meetings, and send what you asked for.
- To send follow-up texts you agreed to (see SMS terms).
- To work with shops that become clients, and to keep business, tax and legal records.
- To protect against fraud and misuse, and to meet legal duties.
Text messages
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number, your text opt-in or your consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except the service providers that carry our messages.

Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:

We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or if the business is sold (text consent does not transfer to a buyer).
Client shops' data
When a shop becomes a client, we process its customers' information to run the shop's office system. That is covered by our agreement with the shop and the shop's own privacy policy, not this one.
How long we keep it
- Proof that you agreed to texts: as long as we text you, plus 4 years.
- Opt-out records: kept, so we never text you again after you opt out.
- Messages and contact details: as long as we're in touch, then as long as business and tax records require.
Your choices
- Stop texts: reply STOP, or tell us any other reasonable way, by phone or email.
- See, correct or delete your information: email weston@standingpilot.com or call (435) 241-3111. We answer within 30 days. We may keep records the law requires.
Security
This site and our email use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Only Standing Pilot can see your information. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
Our service is for business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. We won't use your mobile number in a new way without your consent.
